Congratulations to the chef of cuisine for his very beautiful dishes with a lot of creativity that make the eyes and taste buds look so beautiful. fresh and refined products and an excellent service of servers. So a treat at any point of view with more than reasonable rates. also for our 13-year-old daughter was amazed and absolutely wants to come back. I'll see you soon. View all feedback.
What François Brun doesn't like about Chez Charlotte:
pleasant welcome.Little charming. The place in it even smells like a mold. which is not very motivating to stay inside to eat.I ordered half. I was served with a kronenburg( yard biere) that comes from a pack that is on a large surface in 24 or 40. The price for this drink is 2€50, which I find very, very exaggerated for the coming! We've just sold up and moved to this very pretty part of France. We knew that it would be difficult to eat out as aquavores (we eat fish) in this particular region that is primarily a fois gras producer. However, within minutes of having signed up with an English speaking region Facebook page I was delighted to spot a Vegetarian/vegan weekend at this delightful, hidden gem of a bar/restaurant. I chose Sunday lunchtime as a good time to book and we sat on the terrace, overlooking the golf course. A view of the mountains made this a perfect spot. Our host, Charlotte, was warm and chatty, with many languages at her disposal. As a vegetarian herself, she totally understand why we were so pleased to find her restaurant and clever of her too to spot a niche in the market that needs to be filled. So, the food was very special. A delicious bowl of leek, cream and curry spice, with nutty bread to start, followed by a salad platter with a Malaysian satay sauce. Then a Kerulean curry, with banana, coconut, fried potatoes and followed by a lemon and marscapone cake, which was light as a cloud. All this, with iced tea, rosé and good coffee. The menu was light, colourful and very summery. We have already made plans to come back and visit again. Charlotte was so approachable that it felt like visiting a friend and I would feel very comfortable recommending this restaurant to others. It is hard to find, but basically you head for St Christopher's college, then the golf course and it is situated on the edge of the green and its very easy to spot, close too.The couple next to us were happily tucking into steak, so Charlotte caters for all.
