New owners. The bakery is not up to the standards of the original bakery. Brought home several items and other family members thought they dry and overall not flavorful. I spent $30 and threw most of the food away. It wasn’t I don’t recommend! View all feedback.

Every time we get to Martinsville we lood forward to stopping in at Rising Sun Bakery. Our favorites are the breads (especially the rosemary bread), bagels, muffins, cookies, and chicken salad. My favorite lunch is their chicken salad on their homemade bread. Hmmm! The staff is great, too. The shop is always sparkling clean and fresh. Great business. I love it!
