On a very damp Oct weekend we visited Stonebridge GC. I haven't played here for 25 years and found a lot of changes and improvements. Yes alright it was a bit muddy and there was a great deal of standing water. The bunkers were GUR but we played, had electric trolleys and even some actual tees, which as many club members will know are fazed out during these months. The course layout was interesting and whilst the 1st 9 were long the 2nd 9 were tricky. A much improved course led to an interesting round. Definitely worth a visit.
We had a gorgeous Sunday lunch here today. Would highly recommend
A well maintained course with fast greens. My only gripe is the position of some of the holes. On one of the courses we had to walk a considerable amount to go from hole 4 to hole 5. There was nice challenging water features and some bunkers you would need to abseil down into.

Fantastic breakfast. Very clean and tidy. The only slight negative is staff could be slightly less grumpy. Friday morning visit and we’ll worth it for the breakfast
