We had low expectations for this place, it looked like a classic tourist trap, but we were tight for time and had to eat somewhere. The location is very pleasant, from an outside table with a view across the old port. My meal was fine-a beef patty, some pretty good frites, and a reasonable side salad. Service was OK, but price as expected was pretty high for what you got.
This must be the worst place in Marseille. Breakfast was a joke bit of lettuce and the flattest omelette ever. Service slow and unfriendly owner must run it on a shoestring. Total rip off in prices. Don’t waste your time and look for alternatives.
A great location where we ate fresh, good quality fish at a reasonable price. The staff were welcoming but a bit stretched given the numbers in the restaurant. We will return.
We stopped here three times during our stay in Marseille and it was perfectly nice each time. Even when the place was busy, we never waited long to be served, the waiters were nice (and patient with us ordering in broken French), and the food and drinks were really good. Plus you can’t beat the location, it’s right by the metro and right near the water.
