I recently celebrated my brothers 21st on a rainy Saturday at Randwick. There aren't many seating options when it rains but luckily it wasn't too busy so we still managed to nab a table. The food in general admission is average and overpriced, however you don't go the The Races to eat a good meal. The beer and wine list isn't too extensive, but it covers a few price points and does the job. The day of Racing itself d... View all feedback.

We went to the caravan and camping show at rosehill and sampled food from several places attached to the racecourse. one place near the entrance did coffee and bacon and egg rolls. coffee was ok but the bacon and egg rolls lacked filling didn't even have butter on them and cost 7 dollars each which by my reckoning is expensive . My son had two scoops of ice cream from one of the vendors there that cost 8 dollars. sin... View all feedback.
This is a great racecourse - only 6km (3 miles) from central Sydney, it's a pleasure to visit.
I've never been to the races before I came to Sydney Since moving here a year ago, I have been to the races three times now.
The Royal Randwick Racecourse hosts multiple racing events every year which attracts thousands of people through its gates.

I think when we go next time we will take a packed lunch and just have coffee.
