Addison Chinese Takeaway - Marrickville

So I went for a mixed entree and satay pork. Firstly, my entree didn't come and they gave me an alternative, slight inconvenience but they didn't tell me about the change, they're lucky that I like prawn toast. The satay pork had ok flavour, to be expected, but it was very oily and greasy, it had leaked a bit over the side into the bag. Also for some reason they charged almost $40 for 2 dishes, which I assume they only did to compensate for the Uber Eats fee they had to pay. It was definitely not worth that much money. It wasn't terrible but it could've been so much better.

Dirty doesn’t even cut it. And don’t even think about ordering any “Thai” food, it just misses the mark on so many levels especially the pad Thai (they didn’t even use pad Thai noodles). Their Chinese food is OK but definitely better. The free prawn crackers were so stale, they must have come from 1974. If you are caving good Chinese takeaway, Out favourite has always been mascot fresh kitchen.

Been coming hear for years,food never changes , always great , friendly staff also, don't expect fancy as it is no frills.

At $6.50 for the meal and rice specials, I knew this was only a spot for special occasions, so I came here for my birthday dinner. The 'sweet and sour pork ' was fresh and succulent, with delicious bits of pineapple among a generous serving of battered pork. I loved their modern twist on my personal favourite 'honey chicken. ' Don 't leave without trying the prawn crackers. If you 're in the mood for noodles, it 's an extra dollar and it 's worth the splurge.

You cant go past the pork or chicken Sang Choy Bow with 4 pieces with very generous savory serving spring rolls
