What User doesn't like about The Pie Shed:
I have had pies from this place before and found them quit nice, but recently when purchasing family pies I found them to all have runny gravy. When cut open all the gravy ran out leaving the case empty. The first time it happened I took the pie back and was told that he thought the gravy was a bit thin. Now it has happened again.I will never purchase pies from here again. There are plenty of other bakeries around. View all feedback.
Just a pie pastry not flakey- a little bit better than a 4ntwenty, Custard tart flavourless- didn't taste like egg custard
Recently went through the drive through, after waiting for a long time to be served. We were told that they didn’t have what what we wanted. When we chose the pies we wanted we got only one out of two pies. Then had to purchase another pie for myself. We left the shop and found both pies not very nice at all. Not impressed with the service or the quality of the food. Big disappointment as I had been there before. Staff not interested in anything.
Used to be a great place but not so anymore. The counter now does not display all the beautiful pies like they always have, and it's hard to know what they have available. The pie I had was okay, although a bit soggy have had better there. It was hard to understand what the lady was saying as her English wasn't great.
I visited here today to get lunch and was disappointed at the quality of the food. The business has obviously changed hands and isn't what it used to be. I ordered a scallop pie and there was only 1 scallop in it and the rest was a bland white sauce, the pastry was soggy and wet the paper bag by the time I got home (5 mins away) to eat it. The tirramasu was just mass produced coffee type of cake and the cream was not fresh. Not going back here.
A relative bought a pastie yesterday. Pastie was dry and meat was overcooked and black. As the pastie was inedible, they rang back to complain and were hung-up on.
