Uptown Gastro is my go-to spot for drinks that exceed what you usually find elsewhere. The bartenders are skilled mixologists and are fantastic at suggesting new beverages from their extensive menu. We don’t dine here frequently, but when we do, it's always a memorable experience. It’s more than just your average pub. During my last visit, I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. What User doesn't like about Uptown Gastropub Maroochydore:
Sadly this was the worst meal we have ever had at a restaurant. The seafood platter for two was overpriced for its size and overcooked. It lacked flavour and was drowned in oil. The ventilation was poor (no fans or aircon) and it was very u comfortable. We love to support local but we will not be going back. View all feedback.
Lovely venue. staff were lovely and food was yummy.
Our family had dinner here last night and it was great! The food was super yummy and very reasonably priced, the service was really friendly and helpful, and it was just an overall great experience. We will definitely be back!
Service was good. However when they wanted to close they were watching our table like a hawk to clear it away. There were 5 other tables and the staff were sitting near the bar watching us all to clear things away so they could close. Ruined the experience a bit. I won't go back again for night time as I hate being rushed out. As soon as one of us finished a drink they swooped in to clear it and the others felt rushed to finish their drinks.
Food was great and venue was set up well and had a nice feel. Only issue we had was the bar staff chose not to make my partners cocktail because they “couldn’t remember the table number” even though they had bought my beer over 5 minutes earlier.. Minor problem, won’t stop us from visiting again!
Amazing food and fantastic staff. Will definitely be back!
