They offer gluten-free options! However, it would be helpful if they informed customers in advance about any additional charges. I ordered a sandwich, which was tasty, but the portion sizes are a bit small. I was also disappointed by the use of disposable cutlery and would prefer reusable items instead. View all feedback.
What Louise Dodeman (L) doesn't like about Cafe Green:
We intended to order takeout before the restaurant closed at 2 PM, as we didn't want to keep the staff late. However, when we arrived at 1:45 PM, they were already closed and not accepting orders. By 1:50 PM, the employees had left and locked up. We drove an hour to get there because the reviews seemed fantastic. It was disappointing not to have the opportunity to try the food! We were on our way for a ride and ended up at The Cafe Green in Marinette. It was such a nice surprise to find a restaurant with healthy, fresh and tasty options! Most restaurants are heavy, fried and unhealthy, but that was a sun ray! The food was amazing... Joanne and Nicole were very nice and we'll be back in Marinette next time.
Loved Cafe Green's vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly staff and they are happy to make modifications to meet any dietary need. The green smoothie with Almond milk is a must have! Also had the classic black bean burger and it was De-lish. Lot's of Great salad and sandwich options, and an everything veggie pizza! Wonderful stop for a lunch meeting, date, or to enjoy on your own. Loved the rustic atmosphere. I came back here twice on a work trip and will be back!
Food was great. I had a chicken wrap. Hubs had a black bean burger. Service was acceptable but not impressive. We missed the lunch crowd. One of the staff was leaving for the day. The others were cleaning up. The vibe wasn't bad but I felt like we were preventing them from closing up sooner.
Waited 20 minutes for what I 'm sure was supposed to be a sandwich. Given how half the ingredients were literally smashed into the container and half of it was missing the bottom piece of bread, I 'm not exactly sure what to call what I received. What I was able to salvage was pretty terrible. The turkey tasted very artificial and I was left feeling nauseous the rest of the day. I think they call this menu healthy because they offer vegetarian options.
I've been to The Cafe Green twice so far this week and have been pleasantly surprised Everytime! I had the Cajun steak wrap with sweet potato chips and the Greek flat bread! Healthy, fasst and friendly
