Perfect date night spot. Seating is private, nice ambiance and dimly lit. Expect to pay $40 per head without alcohol. Sushi is fresh and various Korean/Ramen dishes to choose from. Keto and vegan friendly options. View all feedback.
What peter p doesn't like about Kaya Sushi:
The food can be good, but the service is some of the worst you'll ever get. Wait time for your food can be extreme. It's also the kind of place where, if you order a bowl of rice, and there's only about a half a bowl's worth left in the rice cooker, they'll scoop out every last hard bit and stick the little wave-shaped blob of rice in your bowl instead of making more rice. This has happened multiple times. I've never... View all feedback.
This is the second time I come here, it's just as I remember delicious. We had the combination tempura, tempura California roll, dragon roll and popcorn lobster roll, no complaints here loved it all. Price point is ok but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I don't mind paying as long as it worth it. We live in LA what do we expect. The service was great helpful and attentive. It's a small space but all the tables are at a decent distance. Low light, relaxed vibe.
It's sushi day and this is definitely one of my favorite spots for sushi! Their fish is always fresh and their menu items are so yummy! The service is always great and the ambiance is amazing for a date night!! I brought my folks and they also loved this place!!
I don't like this place. The sushi is not good. Dynamite roll was very greasy, the size is very small. The philly roll is not good either. The price for my order was 63$ without tip, expensive!!! I will not order sushi there again and I don't recommend it to you!
Sadly, when you order delivery they take so incredibly long it's rude and uncaring. 1:45 minutes? Really? Okay, so the first time I ordered delivery they took forever and I figured it must have been a fluke. They were just off their game, maybe one too many staff called out sick, etc. so I ordered again, paid a small fortune, and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait.
Absolutely no doubt the worst place in town. Fish is low quality, food is extremely overpriced, the place looks like a ghost town, the staff is rude and unprofessional and I truly hope they go out of business. Wonder how they even pay their rent??
