The food was great and seasoned very well. But the service was horrible. Our party of three was seated immediately at our reserved time but had to wait over thirty minutes to get a waiter to take our order, after complaining to an employee. The place was packed and they were under staffed which may be why the restaurant is closing. The place has been around for a long time and will only do catering and special events... Excellent innovative food. We had calamari for an appetizer. It was light and tasty. I had the spinach schnitzel with polenta and it was fantastic. My husband really enjoyed his baked spaetzel with beef and mozzarella. So sad they are closing. They had been on our want-to-go list a long time. Happy retirement!
Got in the last day to celebrate a major STL business. Delicious veal schnitzel in an elevated classic building. They mentioned they were short staffed but I would've never known. Great service
