What Crystal Neil doesn't like about Crockett's Public House:
I enjoyed Crockette's. The food is good! Typically I would go in and never had issues. But these last two times I have ordered online, my order wasn't right. We modified one order for a gluten free bun, and twice they kept the Flatbread. If they ran out of gf bread, we were never told. In our salad order, we got a half a tomato...like a half of a large tomato. When we called to inquire about the gf bun, we were unabl... View all feedback.

Got breakfast here, but boy, do they skimp out on ingredients. I got the dungeness crab omelette, described as coming with avocado. The omelette itself was tasty but couldn't have been made with more than two small eggs. The crab meat itself was great, and I had a few good mouthfuls. The single small slice of avocado that came on top of the omelette... was kind of sad. I got the homefries with it, and they didn't look like photos I had seen in other reviews. Maybe I didn't look close enough. I expected pan-fried potatoes, onions, and peppers. Instead, I got small cubed potatoes that seem to have been deep fried or even air fried. They were crispy and dry on the outside and slightly moist in the center. I got maybe 3 specks of bell pepper, and likewise for the onion. It also came with a biscuit, and this was the star of the plate. The other items might have well been a side to this thing. It came with butter and what I think was strawberry rhubarb jam, which I loved. The buiscuit was crispy on the outside and fluffy in the center. Unfortunately, the food also came out luke-warm, I don't need it to be screaming hot, but it definitely had been sitting at the pass a little too long or something. The staff was very nice and the restaurant has a cool atmosphere. Overall, my meal wasn't bad. It had plenty that I liked, but it was way overpriced for the portion and could have come out hotter/fresher. If the homefries would have been better, that and the buiscuit could have made me overlook the meager omelette. I would like to come back and try dinner sometime.
