Round Table Pizza - Manteca

I had ordered online from this place a few weeks ago and realized I needed another pizza, so I placed a second order for the same time. The second pizza arrived 20 minutes early, but the second one never showed up. I called the restaurant and they said it was on the way, but then I received a call from Grubhub/DoorDash (can't remember which one) saying they were at the restaurant but there was no order for pick-up. Called the restaurant again, and they admitted they messed up but said the pizza was on the way. Another 20 minutes passed, and I called again to find out it was still sitting there, but they would send someone immediately. At this point, I wanted to pick it up myself, but they assured me someone was on the way. Despite living 10 minutes away, the pizza didn't arrive until 30 minutes later, more than an hour past when it should have been ready. For an $80 order, I expected better service. This place was a disorganized mess and ruined my daughter's 16th birthday party.

We had a party of 20 people after going to the bowling alley, and the restaurant accommodated us even though some of our group did not join. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were seated promptly, and the buffet was fresh and delicious as usual.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that they do not provide a server utensil for the pizza. I found it odd that they did not offer one, especially since hot pizza typically requires one. Even plastic forks and paper plates would have sufficed. All the other round table pizzas I have had in the past provided real forks and plates.

The staff is extremely friendly, which enhances the experience compared to other places in my opinion. The pizza was delivered quickly, tasted delicious, and arrived at the table piping hot. The workers are top-notch, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. I don't dine out often, but I will always remember the warmth and positivity I felt during my visit.

I do not recommend coming for the lunch buffet at this restaurant. The salad was old and everything else looked like it had been sitting out for days. The pizza was decent, but the soda machine was disgusting, with mold coming out of the ice dispenser. It is clear that this place is under new management, as it was much better four years ago. I am concerned about getting food poisoning from the salad and would like to speak to the owner. I could see mold in my cup and ended up throwing up outside the building; I am still feeling sick even at 5pm, despite having lunch at noon. The employees witnessed me throwing up as well.
