I came in on Mother’s Day and the Purple Rooster had run out of food! But the gentleman at the counter offered me a conciliatory piece of lemon cake on the house. It was a blueberry gluten-free cake with lemon frosting – amazing! So delicious, in fact, that I bought a second piece to share with my mother. A delightful Mother’s Day treat. Love this place! What Thomas Reiche doesn't like about The Purple Rooster Cafe:
Absolutely one and done, $36 for a bacon n egg sandwich old home fries, turkey sandwich with cup of soup and a coke . That's pricey for the quality of food served. View all feedback.
My family LOVES the Purple Rooster! The owner is dedicated, passionate, and excellent at preparing delicious quality vegan/gluten free options. You get what you pay for. Quality ingredients cost more, there is more skill and care involved in cooking/baking this way to avoid cross contamination for folks with dietary restrictions. Wonderful atmosphere and service.
The owner is very nice and the staff is very polite and nice. Food is excellent
A wonderful place with expansive vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free menus. Diana is an amazing person and it’s such a great place!
Place is exactly what most towns have been lacking since the early 2000s: A breakfast place with character. Has a chill artsy 90s vibe, think Northampton in 1995. Great place and my daughter loves the pancakes. Must visit and must protect local restaurants with amazing vibes and stop this cookie cutter chain be that makes every town feel the same.
Me and family came here for breakfast last week and it was ok. The teenagers need a little more training. The food was good but the Home fries were cold and probably frozen. The bill was not cheap.
