The best rib eye steak period! I don't recommend anything here except steak. Our party of 8 had many different dishes and the steak is the best in the Midwest. Excellent service. Good salad bar. Popular spot in the Mansfield, Ohio area. View all feedback.
What Summer L doesn't like about Skyway East:
Skyway has some solid dishes and a wonderful wait staff. The atmosphere and obvious economy in the setting simply take the meal from fine dining to aging steakhouse. The lobster bisque was delicious. The small matchbooks with out party 's name were lovely. The salad bar, Walls, flooring, outside landscaping and crowded seating area along with kitchen noise just made this seem like a 'pretend ' fine dining experience.... View all feedback.
We were there on SAT./20. for our SONS BIRTHDAY. Very good. Good guard. The HOME patients were very happy. And UNG on the PLATE. We're not back.

Our family met for a Christmastime dinner last night. I made reservations on 2 Dec after discussing with all on the possible locations for our dinner. Skyway East won over Hudson Essex. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time of 6pm and were immediately seated. When making the reservation, the gentleman I spoke with remarked they were limiting reservations due to COVID-19 but that did not appear to be the case last night. Debra was our waitress, professional and friendly during the entire 2 hour experience. We ordered a bottle of Prisoner and cocktails/beer to start. My wife ordered one of their specialty cocktail silent night martini , my Mom a Dirty martini on the rocks, and I a Rye Manhattan. Mom liked the ice in her martini; however, I got ice in my Manhattan and just tried to enjoy the evening. A loaf of bread appeared on the table in front of my sister so she was appointed head bread slicer! Appetizers ordered were escargot and onion soups. I thought the escargot were very tasty and my sister husband enjoyed the soups! After finishing appetizers we ordered dinner. There was a variety of dishes ordered with my wife ordering a petite filet mignon with blue cheese crumbles and steak fries while I ordered the larger filet mignon Oscar style with baked potato. Other dishes ordered were the special scallops Coquilles St. Jacque, black angus sirloin with mushrooms, and fried walleye. All but my wife had their spinach salad and my wife their salad bar. The salads came our fairly quickly and were delicious while my wife like the variety on the salad bar. After a reasonable amount of time our main courses came out. The steaks were cooked to perfection and yummy! My Mom and sister raved about their scallops while Mom 's partner loved his fried walleye. All-and-all a very enjoyable Christmastime dinner. I 'm still not a fan of salad bars and loaf bread. It 's a throwback to the 70 's and is not part of a premier dining experience . That said, the personalized match books are a throwback that we all appreciated!!
