Saltgrass Steak House - Mansfield

So normally our go to place to eat is Saltgrass but the last 4 times we have gone the service has been awful. The servers is different each time so I can only assume that they are no longer being trained properly.I mean the issues are not just minor mistakes, the hostes has refused to give us a booth, we have had entire entrées not delivered, sides and toppers missing, drinks are brought wrong or not at all. We have received our entrées before even receiving our appetizer and salads. All of these problems have occurred from the last few visits.Service at the Mansfield saltgrass location has definitely failed all expectations to the point we have considered going to Texas Roadhouse instead.

We ate here on a trip from Houston to home. The building and interior are both clean and new. The wait staff were friendly and attentive with prompt service. I had the ribeye, and my sisters had shrimp and the sirloin. The food was delicious and served quickly. We never had to wait, and being on a trip, being able to pay the bill in a timely manner was appreciated. I don't think we could have eaten at a fast food place any faster.

We always go here for its quiet during the week and the atmosphere is great. Server was outstanding, but the food was not so good this time. We had ribs and they cane out burned and dry, but were hungry. The server was very nice and apologetic, did everything she could and told the manager. We never saw the manager and it was not busy. I guess it depends on the cook but not like if he was so busy. Oh well next time, but the service was great and that's what we liked.

We waited 10 minutes to be greeted at the front desk. Then we get seated and wait about 20 minutes for someone to take are drink order and there were maybe one other couple there while we were waiting all this time. Horrible experience and I guess I will have to find somewhere else to eat a good steak.

I've been to Saltgrass Steak House many, many times, but never for Happy Hour...Wow! I stopped at the Mansfield Texas location.Half price appetizers $3 drafts ... Super Winner!To begin, I had the Tenderlion Bites Absolutely Incredible! Steak bites perfectly cooked medium, and the sautéed mushroom, grilled onions, sauce was excellent! $6!!!!And only $10.99 regular price Wow!
