The restaurant was peaceful in the car park and inside the pub. The place was tidy and the staff were friendly. The beef dinners were generally good, but unfortunately, mine was not. I had requested well-done beef, but it was served still raw and bleeding. They promptly took it back and made another attempt. We often come here due to the excellent food and service . Never had a bad meal yet . Came today for a birthday .., party of 18 and staff were amazing and attentive . Big thankyou to Joel and Hannah .
Spot on, great service, katsu curry was devine, proper quick service with excellent outcome really looked after us, cheers!
This is our fourth visit to this pub and it has become one of our favourite places in Mansfield for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Basset Hounds in tow. We have had consistently good food here and have been made to feel welcome and comfortable. There is great value food and drink and the breakfast is recommended highly. The team are all really friendly and will do their utmost to make sure you have a good time. Recommended dishes are: the rump steak, the full rack of ribs, the full breakfast, the chicken fajitas and the hunter's chicken.... so far!!
Joel was great very informative on the menu. Personable guy and smily. Lilly was efficient with the food. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was great. We had the steak and the burger. Very tasty. Would recommend A+
Lovely place to come too have some great food and drinks will defo be coming back again been well looked after by our server Joel 10/10 service ps needs a pay rise
