The largest goatmeat I had ever tasted, not to mention the deliciously seasoned rice. Only $10 for a meal you can only finish when you are very hungry. Unique environment, as well as a grocery store with some of my favorite drinks. Very friendly people, too. I'm looking forward to returning. If I could give zero stars I would. Lamb wasn’t cooked. It was like rubber and the sambusas were cold and old. I asked if they could just replace the 4 they said “no we don’t do that here my guy” View all feedback.

The food speaks for itself to be honest! And customer service is beyond friendly and warming. As a worker a son of the old man I see here not to be satisfied with him or to believe that his behavior is not best. He's the owner of the restaurant. Funny facts; In fact, he is the one who also makes this lambship that u see Every morning and some people trust it every day! My father could be old, but he is dedicated to his business to ensure that it runs smoothly and safely as possible for our customers and staff. We treat everyone with respect as everyone else wanted to be treated, we hear and offer the best service for our beloved customers. Best Somali food in Mankato. Get Injera bread, spices, etc. Beautiful people!

Went here on a whim and was incredibly surprised. It seems like a hole in the wall when you first walk in, and there 's the restaurant on the right-hand side and a grocery store on the left. I ordered Lamb with Rice, and for $10 there was a very generous amount of both lamb and rice, along with lime and a banana. Certainly worth the money. The lamb exceeded all expectations, and was perhaps some of the best meat I have ever had, especially within the Mankato area. The grocery store has many foreign delicacies, such as Vimto soda and imported tea, among many other things. The service was great; the two men there were very pleasent, helpful, and conversational. I will for sure be returning many times into the future!

I had the goat meat and rice! It was definitely good and i will come back for more! The people are really nice!! I did get my green sauce and ranch oh and a banana!!! Lol wonderful!
