Honestly one of the worst breakfast experiences of my life. This place is soulless, the food is disgusting, and the coffee was horrid. I ordered an omelet, which was rubbery and room temperature. The only redeeming item was the fruit bowl and toast, which was still mediocre. Everyone around me was obese and decrepit. Updated Review 2024: Came here for breakfast (5th time this year) and had the chicken cordon bleu crepes. Impressed! The hollandaise sauce wasn't too lemony and made a great addition to the crepe. Love the ice tea lemonade here; very natural. Service was fantastic and the restaurant still looked fair, although it's time to replace the carpet as it's pretty worn. My only real gripe is a visit to the restroom. It's in dire need of remodeling. The tiles are cracked, grout is filthy, plumbing and fixtures are extremely dated and the entire room has a permanent reek of old urine. A dirty restroom offsets the entire restaurant and drives away many customers. Update and deep clean your restrooms and I promise you'll see an uptick of customers. 2017 Review: Much better than I remember! EXCELLENT Reuben and tomato basil soup. The only place to make a soul cream and raisin pie almost as good as mine. ?
Service was terrible, food was Ok at best. My sister in law found a hair in her burger, GROSS! They no longer offer a piece of free pie for your birthday, very sad if you ask me. Our server never came over or checked on us the entire time we were there, had to flag someone down to make a new burger after finding the hair. No one got a refill on their beverage, except me, because I asked when she brought our food out, which was one of 3 times she was at the table, she was to busy on her phone or chatting with other employees. She seemed very inconvenienced to do her job. She came once to take our order/ bring our first beverage, once to bring food and lastly to bring our checks. Very very very disappointed that I chose to eat here for my birthday, ruined my day! I would give zero stars but it won't let me. I will NEVER return.
Nice quiet place to visit for a while with some friends. Good food, breakfast is probably the specialty.
On the Reuben sandwich the meat was dried out and hard to chew and a chicken sandwich. The chicken was breast was very small
