City Star Diner - Manheim

Well I got baked ham, lumpy mashed potatoes and harvert beets. No roll. Apple pie. The apples were not cooked even though they were canned. This will be the last I will eat there. This is diner food.

The food is always quick and consistently good. The service is mostly acceptable but there are some busy times they can’t control. I will continue to visit regularly.

My husband and I ate here Saturday morning while in Lancaster county. I had western omelette, hash browns, and toast. My husband had eggs over easy, hash browns, and toast. He also had scrapple .Everything was hot and fresh. And our meal came out quickly. Good meal.

The food was very good! The waitress came back a couple extra times but I understand she was trying to leave us in peace to eat. Very friendly! It is a place I would frequent if I lived up in the area and didn't cook myself!

I had a wonderful breakfast at City Star Diner this morning. It was my first visit, and I ordered the City Star omelette special, which came with broccoli, crab meat, and hollandaise sauce. The omelet was light and fluffy, and the fresh broccoli was perfectly cooked. The hollandaise sauce had a nice citrusy flavor. My server, Anna, was excellent. The service was prompt, and the prices were quite reasonable. I definitely recommend this diner as a great option in the area.
