Staffs are friendly, approachable, and helpful. 3. Decent price for the quality of the food. The bad cons: 1. The fries in my order has less quantity than expected. Now, although still huge, is... read more The last time I ate a Hot Star chicken was more than 10 yrs ago (in Banawe) and it was really delicious and like that of Taiwan’s. Now, although still huge, is not as good. It seems to have retained more oil resulting in an oilier taste or maybe (and I’m just guessing) the oil is reused too many times? Also the corn starch batter is too thick. But generally it was still tasty, great to eat with rice and people still loving it (evidenced by the queue). I’ll have to compare with G&G one of these days.
