Inedible steak and undercooked chips. You’d think anyone would be capable of preparing something so basic without messing it up. Yet the so called chef of this ugly, tasteless, overpriced establishment managed it very well. The griddle where the steak was “cooked” had clearly not been cleaned for ages leaving a horrible smell and taste of burnt on the meat. Totally inedible, even my dog refused to eat it. Very disapp... Excellent eating and very friendly staff, for a family meal of 14 no problem, and the main courses were excellent all round, highly recommend the bark and stylton cake, easy the best torte I have ever eaten! highly recommended!
One of the best pubs they find in the surrounding opposite. jon and rusty and fantastic rental and host, eating is great, and especially the beer is always top! Many thanks for the further service!
Fabulous pub, pop-in for a drink while on a walk and 2 hours later still propping the bar and chatting to the great hostess.
Fantastic. great eating and the staff very friendly and helpful. we had a great family afternoon and will definitely come back.
Food is Amazing , wonderful friendly staff very helpful will definalty be back lovely Easter weekend.
