Jolly Fryer - Maldon

I recently visited this restaurant after hearing that it was under new ownership and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The fish and chips were lovely and I found the service to be very friendly unlike the previous owner who was rude and miserable. I am not related to the current owner but I always enjoy popping in for a warm reception and a delicious dinner.

Moved to burnham on crouch and fancied a beautiful bag of fish and chips and came over jolly fryers in the high street, and know what! it is the best cod bites haddock and chips very friendly staff john is a donator. they can order their orders in or pop in and give them their order, but I was not dissapointed

Only been a year in burnham, and I have eaten many fish chips in my time. my family came by and we all pampered at a Friday night contract to jolly fryer, even they said it was the best fish and chips. they had ever comfortable like everything that is always a good sign, absolute plucking, and could not stop laughing at the friendly northern guy. I came once in the july with a loud summery hot, we all had a laugh right away, felt as if I had been there for years and knew them all right away. fish chips taste even better to see the flow at the boats. excellent customer service if someone tries to pull me back into another fish and chip shop, I will tell them to p off!

Wonderful people, great service and really delicious, fresh fish. they have also really well looked after allergies that are very impressed. a real gem of the Burnham-on-Crouch road. Thank you!
