Okami

Es la segunda vez que vamos y las dos veces nos ha sorprendido. La calidad, presentación y atención son excelentes. Diferente al resto de restaurantes japoneses en Málaga, tipo taberna.

I didn’t know what to order and I chose only things I hadn’t tasted before. WOW! I think I have to try everything in the menu here! I was not disappointed at all! Excellent food, elegantly presented, and served by kind people. What else do you need from a culinary experience? Oh yes, and the bill was friendly too!

We went at 2 pm on a Tuesday for lunch. One other table. We don't know why because it was outstanding. The owner waited on us and speaks very good English. Spanish and English menus available. I had a cava while my husband had the restaurant namesake drink (grenadine, vodka, sake, and ginger ale). He loved his drink while the sugar overwhelmed me. Amuse bouche of kimchi style cucumbers which were refreshing. The miso soup and vegetable tempura (eggplant, onion, green bean, jicama, bell peppers) were very good. Tuna tatake with avocado garnish and miso butter fish were great. I though the butter fish was a tad over salted. Finished with dessert of 2 chocolate mochi. Delicious. From the street doesn't look like much but venture in to a welcoming and cool Japanese inspired vibe. We are going back next week.

Amazing service and genuine food!!! Lovely ambience and great food! Excellent!! Fresh Ingredients, a fusion of Spanish and Japanese with a friendly staff... the curry is amazing!
