huge selection of tasty filipino classics with a swirl. tried their pasta, best-seller pork belly kimchi and banana cheesecake. the most unforgettable dish for me was the cheesecake. sinful rich cheesecake with ripe bananas torn. it was the perfect end of a hearty meal. art of expensive, but the great portions and excellent quality make it worth View all feedback.
What Anne Lakin doesn't like about The PigPen:
Enjoyed the Pigcit' pancit topped with a few pieces of shrimps. Serving size was good for sharing but can be devoured by one hungry diner if not ordering anything else. Best to pair with the chicken barbecue stick, serving size of this one is quite small considering its expensive price point. The pork tonkatsu with Japanese curry was exception. Very flavorful and tender meat but, again, small in size. Interiors looks... View all feedback.
First time we tried it here yesterday but we went to the Solenad branch. The food was quite tasty and worth it. We got the set D good for four and an additional order of seafood surprise which consisted of squid, shrimp and fish fry(poppers) and fries, and also the mushroom-truffle-bone marrow. All in all the food was ok and the set meal was pretty generous in serving. The only thing that didn't stand out was their pork with kimchi. They should've served it with hoisin or cooked it in hoisin to elevate the taste. Definitely a family place or group dining place.
Amazing food by a chef from a michelin starred restaurant in London. Not easy to find gourmet-like meals and dining experience for a very reasonable price. A good place to hang out after work as well. Some tap beer and nicely blended cocktails to conclude a day's work.
Makati's new hidden gem: Amazing Asian fusion food for very reasonable price (300-400 PHP per head)! Certainly, one of the best ratio price quality in Makati... I was expecting a cool grill place, but I couldn't be farther from the truth: Classy food cooked by a chef who has been working for years in a one Michelin Star French restaurant in London. Enough said... The place is classy and crowded over lunch (no surprise considering the food quality and the price); The service is great, with friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Try the solo rice bowl with pork shoulder, and the grilled pineapple with coconut/basil ice cream for dessert. To die for... You still need more convincing? Two words for you: Unlimited Rice! A must visit! Run there as soon as you can...
Good new resto in Eton Towers along Dela Rosa St in Legaspi Village. Started off with bar snack Beef Papadum- quite tasty and large - goes well with drinks. Had a couple of cocktails - Gin Tonic Peach Rosemary was very good. Gin Cucumber seemed to have too much ginger beer. Asian Salad was zesty with fresh greens, singkamas, orange and boiled eggs. Even the Solo version at Php 220 was large. For mains we had Pork Belly with Kimchi and Beef Shank Mushroom Bonemarrow. The beef shank was excellent with shaved parmesan. Pork belly was ok
Very Friendly waiters, perfect and priceworthy food! Good cocktails! Different kinds of beer! Masarap!! The Desserts are the best! Love it and will come again and again and again.
