Samurai may not taste like authentic Japanese food but its takoyaki remain to be a crowd-favorite because its sauce tastes good We also tried their okonomiyaki which is full of cabbage and bulldog sauce and we also liked it They increased price though The Eatventurers View all feedback.
What Fabian Howell doesn't like about Samurai:
samurai takes care of a nostalgic foodie demographer. when they are raised to eat samurai takoyaki, this is an excellent snack, they were on the business way in front of the influx of authentic, packed takoyakis, which are now a more common sight in food halls and food dishes. samurai doesn't have much to do about the filling because it's all broken. tiny speculation from the inside, hardly noticeable. it is drowned... One of the best food court/stall finds. They serve other Japanese dishes but I come here for their Takoyaki, Japanese octopus balls. Their variand are filled with minced veggies and meat instead of octopus. It's an acquired taste for some I guess. Not everyone I know are fond of it. But it was habit-forming for me. A must stop whenever we pass by the food courts.
What makes samurai different from all the available takoyaki here in manila today. The batter, the sauce and the powder. It's perfectly hot when served and it will burn your tongue but you're going to like it. It tastes like the ocean topped with a sweet and sour glaze that's frankly quite addicting. No wonder there are still many that flock this treat. fatgirlsdayout.com

Ok, I think my review would be a bit biased because if I eat takoyaki from samurai, it brings back childhood memories. (It's really happy that they have more of them now). it was the first takoyaki I ever tried. samurai takoyaki differs from other takoyaki places, since it is somehow made to the filipino galaxy.
