I had been here at least 3 times and I enjoyed every instance because of their quality sound system, convenient karaoke system, comfortable couch, bright party lights, and well-ventilated cold rooms. But last night was very stressful for me upon witnessing first-hand how awful their service was as I was the organizer of our team’s party. They gave us a 15-pax room where party lights weren’t functioning. The song search wasn’t as easy as the ones I had before and the song list weren’t that updated. The room was warm despite the aircon had been turned on full. Lastly, there was a dead roach in the corner. This was in Room number 8. I demanded to be transferred to a different room for which they obliged. They transferred us to Room number 5. The ambiance was 5 times better. That was the type of room I always enjoyed at Platinum.  Forty five minutes into our time, the food that should have come with the package I ordered weren’t served yet. No water was even served. I had to call them to ask for the food. The staff responded and went back to the kitchen. Moments later, she asked me what I ordered. I almost flipped out when I heard that. Apparently, none of the staff were aware of the details of the package even after I already gave them the voucher they gave when I reserved for that night 3 days prior. It was indicated in the voucher the set of food we ordered. The food arrived after 30 minutes. The food were served one at a time. Then I realized that they didn’t serve the pizza, hotdog, and nachos. I asked them again to serve the food already. Then they told me that they weren’t able to buy ingredients for the food. I still tried to be calm. They wouldn’t have told us that these food weren’t available if I hadn’t reminded them. It is also the same case when they didn’t give us a bottle of red wine which was part of the package even after reminding them twice? How could they demand from us to place a reservation and pay a down payment when in fact they didn’t prepare for us that night? On a less stressful side, the food was surprisingly good. They asked us to order a different food in place of the unavailable ones. Also, the staff were not rude. They were just clueless. The main problem I saw was the lack of initiative. They should fix this if they don’t want to lose customers.

Went here for a going-away party of my colleague. Place is decent for its average pricing. Disappointed with this place. I will not recommend it.
