Restaurant Olympia - Mainz

I've been there several times and chose it to be one of my favorite locals. Whether inside or outside we have always sat well and were served quickly and friendly. The decoration in the restaurant is a bit of typical Greek, outside you sit shielded from the street. Unfortunately, the smokers are disturbing there, but outdoors are allowed, even if the neighbour wants to eat. Food: always delicious, always in perfect quality, always fresh. Just good. That's all I think of. We never had a reason to complain and the wine is delicious. The kitchen under the care of the boss works fast, but waiting times come before. Prices are not in the lower level, but quality is fine. My recommendation to get to know.

The Greek restaurant, always called Zur Krimm, is often the meeting place for many regular tables and the destination of many adults when visiting their parents. Mainly responsible is presumably that the food in the Olympic restaurant can easily withstand any such critical view, at least my experience. This is partly due to the fresh and high-quality ingredients, many of which are available, because simple, boring dishes are simply not offered. Even a kind of flat plate comes with great refinements, so that you can see taste nuances that I was never allowed to experience before in a Greek restaurant. The meat dishes are particularly good thanks to the in-house charcoal grill. The menus and dishes on the menu are very different and varied, but their number is not exactly high. Inside, old-fashioned looking stone ornaments and columns convey impressions of Ancient Greece, where the rustic chairs and tables harm the overall picture. During the warm season can also be fed on the terrace. The cellars always hurry up and drinks are at a similar speed at the table. It looks a little different with the waiting times until the food arrives, which have been unpleasant 45 minutes during my last visit. In turn, prices are more than justified in relation to quality and portion size.

The menu of Restaurant Olympia, also called Zur Krimm, is a perfect mix of Dt. and Griech. Kitchen. All my visits to this restaurant I could personally leave completely fired, because the food is simply first cream. The furnishings are obviously based on ancient Greece. But the food and the employees are by no means millennia old. Friendly young employees read the customer every wish from the eyes. And eating is once on the table the enthusiasm is great, because such a food has really rarely seen and tasted. Perfectly prepared and tempered meat, exquisite delicate sauces and fresh vegetables radiate on the plates around the bet. However, the prices are the reverse side. It is usually necessary to pay a little more than in other similar establishments.

After a sporting event, we were looking for a quick happen and the terrace looked inviting. we ordered a rumpsteak and an salate. eating was more than sufficient, but hardly edible. much too salty and the salate was drowned in dressing. the medium steak proved to be very good. the personal is very friendly, but I would recommend it only if it is the only possible option
