The menu offers a set price that is quite reasonable, especially given the exceptional quality of the cooking. Every dish we tried was delicious and could easily stand up to those found in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Everything, including the cocktails, was flawless. This is the perfect spot for upscale dining without the high costs typically associated with big cities. We've been here twice now and will definitel... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Drawing Room:
no bread served or offered, strange. the cocktails were not cold enough to be warm! we asked about hot plates, but they were hardly warm. treacle tart bland with almost without taste...was it brought in? maidstone needs fine eating, but this restauramt has to listen and sort dinge. what is so difficult with hot plates? Was recommended this place by friends and glad they did. Good choice on the menu of food cooked with local quality produce. The chef knows his stuff and has produced some great flavours, well executed and well presented. Food is up there with some Michelin starred restaurants I have eaten in in the past And it is really cheap too!!! Steak night is also well worth a go
Lovely ambience, very intimate but busy. Friendly staff and the food is melt in the mouth. Definitely worth the journey as we live 30 miles away, ideal for special occasions.
We enjoyed afternoon tea in a very comfortable dining room. The food was good, just the right amount, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the service friendly and efficient.
Wonderful experience, staff excellent and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommend and I will be going again soon.
At the arrival there was a hot party that became louder the longer we were there, but we assumed that it was the food we had with the sweet, where cold and the jus was very salty. the 5 green gnocchi squares tasted like eating stola without taste, even if it should contain garlic. for the price £20) there was little on the plate and it was cold. my partner had a starter and enjoyed that but did not comment on it enough. when we complained, the manager said she would let the cook know and then avoided us like the plague and seemed upset. we asked about the bill after I decided not to have dessert and sat there on what seemed an old, so we decided to go to try and pay, and the manager appeared as we had our moms up and the bill appeared, she had the drinks knocked out of the bill, we thought very good of her, but she had been paying us for each one we had just put on
