Mahogany Inn Restaurant & Reception Centre

The inn mahogany creek has been my favorite for several years. the building and the grounds are picturesque and perfect, no matter if the weather. the outdoor beer garden is beautiful and hidden by the great eastern highway and perfect for early or summer weather. the bar and restaurant is cozy and romantic with a woodburn in winter that gives its charm. the bar has a good choice of beer on tap and wein. there is a good selection of food, offering delicious dishes such as drawn pork toos to kartoffel gnocchi, all satisfying and favorable. inn mahogany creek also has mid week specials such as curry and wein Wednesday, ripen and wein Thursday, not to mention the pizza...more

EDIT December 2016 All day brunch at the Inn ROCKS!!! DoubleKickChick and I were looking for a quiet place to eat on Grand Final day and settled on the Mahogany Creek after checking out the new all day brunch menu. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing. The only issue we had was the beer of the week, 150 lashes was out of stock. Apart from that slight hiccup, the food and service was great. I have since spoken to other locals that have dined there and everyone speaks highly of the Inn. Great to see them make a comeback from my last review. I'll be back. I hate change. Our Second Home.. To All the Gorgeous staff at Inn Mahogany Creek, our second home. John and I love coming across the road every week, WHY . Great people, great atmosphere, great ambiance, wonderful service and the food is so scrumptious. Thank you to the team Kepler, Marsha, Keehah and a special mention to Scott and the other chefs. Scott the ribs tonight were amazing absolutely deli-sh. We look forward to seeing you all every week and the food, service ambiance never fail us.

We were all very shocked at how this place has gone from good to terrible! Untrained staff running around with no idea of the table numbers nor any clue when asked about the wines. The chair i went to sit on was falling apart. When i mentioned this , all i got was a blank stare. 15 minutes of waiting to place our order, i had to chase down the waitress. Entrées came out in a reasonable time and looked great. I got dozen oysters that tasted as they had 1kg of salt over them. Just unedible! Again tried to get the attention of the staff, but gave up and once again had to chase one down with my plate in hand. Got another blank stare! This place is a joke. I couldn't recommend inn mahogany creek more. The food was amazing, staff were friendly, professional and attentive. Food and beverages were well priced and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.
