Fish Inn Rockpool - Magnetic Island

Portion size on family pack was very good value, more than enough! Delicious calamari and chips! Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for a beer and stayed for 3....an amazing view that will draw you in. The pool was being refilled at the time...beautiful location over looking the pool overlooking the ocean.Staff very friendly and able to fill us in things to do and places to see.Insufficient time to eat here but on the to do list when we return...did i mention that million dollar view and the beautiful weather...If this is winter count me in every year! lol

A huge thank you to the Fish Inn Restaurant….I would just like to say what a super evening we had at the Fish Inn Rockpool Restaurant. We had not booked a table and just took a chance that we would beearly enough to find a spot, which the staff promptly did for us… we were then serveda meal that was highly recommended by our most friendly and accommodating waitress Emily.Through the evening we enjoyed our meal, and here I have to say that I had the salt and pepper Calamari and it was totally to die for, the last time I had such fantastic well served Calamari was on the Coral Princess cruise, so that was a huge bonus and congratulations to the chief. When We left I was more interested in complimenting the staff and chief than checking my bill, and only after we had left the restaurant I suddenly realized that I had been overcharged...Once I got my head out of the clouds… the following morning I rung expecting to have an argument on my hands but was dealt with total respect, and Warren could not have been more apologetic and offered me a few options on how to be given the money back, well i fell in love with his Calamari didn't I so, we accepted the most awesome meal for Lunch on Sunday, Guess what you bet, Calamari….with the nicest beetroot salad.. Guys, I can't express enough how much we both enjoyed our meal, and you will most certainly be seeing me and all my friends there on a more regular basis…. Well done ... I have fallen in love with your Calamari….keep it up!!

When greeted told we would have to wait 45minutes. Said OK we would have a coffee but had to wait 20 minutes so we ordered a glass of house wine. After 20 minutes of waiting we weren't asked for our order so we left. $21 for our glasses of house white.untidy restaurant with very poor service

Location is spectacular, and the staff were great! Food....not so much. The pie was pretty ordinary. The chips were soggy. The coffee tasted amazing if a little bit cool. Bit of a disappointment. Will try it again though as everyone can have an off day!
