Always great and if I choose a lighter fare I am always pleasantly surprised by how well made and delicious it is. Love the seafood cob salad, kale salad, Thai Flatbread pizza, Matag blue chips, pasta, specialty drinks irish margarita. View all feedback.
What Mắm T doesn't like about Bonfyre American Grille:
The food at this restaurant is tasty, but it is expensive for the portion sizes. The server was friendly, but there were some mishaps such as clearing plates without asking and not offering a takeout box. The server did apologize and provided a complimentary dessert, but it was disappointing given the high prices on the menu, like $32 for a plate of dry chicken risotto. View all feedback.
Had Sunday brunch at Bonfyre Grill. Ordered the jambalaya eggs. It was awesome. Exceptional dish with just the right amount of spice. Generous portion size- took half of the jambalaya home. Great giant sized **** Mary (32 oz). Also with a good amount of heat. Wait staff was excellent, accommodating very polite.
My wife and I are home builders from the UP of Michigan and rate Madison as one of the top 3 'Big Cities ' we would love live in. We happened to stumble upon this most excellent establishment while in town for the Lake Home and Cabin show, After an intense day we just wanted something close by. From the moment we entered the doors the feeling of high quality design, finishes, people was evident. The place was packed with happy people. A fine, well educated , pleasant , attentive young lady -Bridget was our server. We felt like we were the number 1 customer there. There is a fine team here to serve. The wood fire simply is earthy , grounding and familiar for folks like us and we settled right in to the finest cuisine that we, as avid travelers , have experienced in this part of the country. Bridget, as well as all of the staff, really make this a Mad City destination. Well Done:

Excellent menu, incredible choices, definitely a must do if you are in the area. Service for lunch is very fast and friendly. We had the Calamari 'starter ', (delicious and cooked perfectly), I had the Jambalaya, my wife had the Chicken Parmesan, both were excellent. We will be back to try the dinner menu the next time we have the opportunity to do so.
This place is great. Can't believe all the negativity out there. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Drinks were good. Appetizers took a while, but were worth the wait. Cheese curds were lightly breaded, fried just right, and creamy inside. I had ribs which were tender and delicious. My wife had a salad with a wedge of sirloin which she enjoyed. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
