Begum Palace Authentic Indian Cuisine

This was our second visit. Begum Palace is an excellent Indian restaurant! Outstanding food, great preparation, friendly and very competent service, very nicely decorated, tables nicely spaced. They also do a lot of take out business. We had the Tandoori mixed grill and lamb cognac main courses with two breads (naan and garlic naan). Everything was really delicious. The tandoori grilled meats and shrimp were moist and very tasty. The tender lamb was in a really rich, flavorful sauce. Portions are generous. The menu is large a great selection! Spice levels can be adjusted to your taste. BYOB. There is a wine/beer shop a few doors away. Very highly recommended.

Begum Palace was fantastic… The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were having the best experience possible. The food was delicious. It was our first time there but certainly not our last!

Very good lunch selection on their buffet. excellent tandoori chicken that was far more tender than others I have had. Owners were very gracious.

This place is run by good-hearted people. Mr Sunil, started as a waiter for more than 15 years and is now supposedly one of the owners. I really felt welcomed by his extraordinary hospitality. I noticed that most of the people in the restaurant were his repeated customers whom he treated like his own family. Once I arrived with my family, the place was packed but Mr Sunil was managed to find a good table for my family. Food is tasty and can be made per your spice tolerance specifications. Decor is not that great but I am giving 4 stars for the hospitality and for the tasty food. Service also need some improvement.

I have dined at this restaurant for several years and have always being impressed with authentic indian food and service. This has improved especially with the new management.
