Dinner at DiCicco's this evening, Our Server was Anissa and she was excellent and the food was fantastic. I had the Scarface and my wife had the Penne Pesto. Both dishes were very hot when brought to the table, so much so, that I had to let mine cool a little. Both servings were very large and we were able to take enough home for leftovers. If this restaurant was in our town we would be regulars. View all feedback.
What Jasen Walsh doesn't like about Diciccos Italian:
The Calzoni was very good and it appeared to be deep fried. The sauce was on the outside which I had never had a Calzone like that before bit turned out great. The reason I give it a 3 stars is because my coworker got the small pizza and the dough was not fresh. The bread at the table was not done and a little doughy. I would love to try the dinner selection maybe it's better. View all feedback.
I love everything about this place and since I was a child. I would have given a 5-star service, but was very upset when I left last time because my Grandkids and I were excited to go to the movies. I have reviewed the website to ensure that they are open and have closed at 10:00. I was there at 9 a.m. and the girl was ready to sit down when someone from the kitchen told her the kitchen was closed. She told us they were closed early because it was slow, but I saw people sitting and seemed to wait for their food and wait for order. Of course we were all very disappointed. Maybe the times should be updated online. The kids settled for Taco Bell, but I had my heart on a cheese pizza and nobody can do it as they do. I moved to the Bay Area a few years ago and can't find pizza that can even come near Dicicco's cheese pizza, so when I come to visit family Diciccos is a MUST for me.
My husband took me to my birthday party! I loved seeing my cousins and uncles and kids under one roof. I think the hostess was a little overwhelmed the food forever and was not as good as usual
How does this place stay in business? Absolutely some of the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. Zero ability to be friendly, take an order right and actually speak coherent enough to repeat the order to ensure that everything is correct. Today was the straw that broke the camel for me. I'll never do business with them again. At 4.13 a.m. with a very rude individual given an order, was said to have thirty minutes delivery, I know better than, so I patiently waited, an hour still did not pass food, I called and said that it should arrive soon, another hour past and I called again, spoke to three different people who tried to find out about my food, just to say that the order had never been processed. Two hours are waiting for food that never wanted to show up. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. The owner should be more proud of who they rent, each employee is a representative of the company and apparently set their standards very low. Gina was extremely apologetic and I appreciate that, but the other two girls I don't have names for that I absolutely have to be fired to lie to me and wait me for two hours for dinner that would never appear. My business deserves better treatment and they have lost all respect because ways to many opportunities. To the people there who have no pride in treating every customer with respect and dignity, it is the customer who keeps places like this in business. Lucky for the incompetent girls who don't have a class that I don't have their names. I think they must be ashamed and taught how to deal with the public properly. I expect any business I give my time.
I gave a star to write my comments. Every time I go to this place, I get sick. Physically ill, as if I had been poisoned. It's obvious that the chefs don't know how to drain pasta properly, because whatever you get with pasta is saturated in water. When I made the whole dish a catastrophe, I liked the calzone that was baked with cheese and broccoli the ingredients I like. But every time all dough is barely baked, little cheese and little or no broccoli. The only time I find food is when the owner is there during the lunch break. Unfortunately, he's not there in the nights. I go there with a good friend, but I told him after the last night experience I will never go back. There's so much more I could say, but I just don't have time to waste. Bottom line is that more often than not I find the food and sometimes the service extremely disappointing.
First time at this location. I did enjoy it especially because of how fast my food came out. Has the shrimp Alfredo pasta. Make sure to put on some Tabasco salsa just to make it even better. Enjoy
