What User doesn't like about Lok Lok Dumpling Bar:
We decided to visit this restaurant based on recommendations that it was the top spot in town. We were somewhat let down by the service (not very friendly and some mistakes in our order), but the food was delicious, although not exceptional. View all feedback.

Food is great and for $20 you'll get more food than you can eat. Can be very busy but service is still fast.
I am a big fan of short soup and I have been very disappointed at some Chinese restaurants lately. But today I had a bowl of short soup at Lok Lok Dumpling Bar and the wantons were actually very tasty. Maybe it was because they were filled with a blend of chicken and prawn and chives rather than pork which tends to be flavourless in fillings. Anyway I thought they were quite delicious. I was trying to see if there was anything else in the filling as I live in hope of seeing chopped water chestnuts at least. I couldn't see anything else but well taste is everything and the taste was really good. I had some dumplings here before and I remember that they were very tasty too. It's a very laid back type of eatery and does not look like the type of place where they'd like diners to linger beyond the end of the meal but well I'll certainly have a short soup there again next time I go to the movies next door.
Very very tasty and popular. The environment is great and the food is good quality. Same as those that can get at yum Cha shops!...
Lok Lok is located right near the cinema in Macquarie Shopping Centre and perfect for a quick lunch as a break from shopping or before or after a movie.I've been here several times and the kids love the steamed pork buns (as do I!). This time it was just Mum and I having a bite to eat before a movie. You order at the counter and get a buzzer which notifies you that your order is ready. There are tables with stools to sit at and self serve sauces, utensils and napkins. Today we had pan fried pork dumplings, prawn and chive dumplings and onion pancakes all of which were fresh and delicious. Service was quick and helpful.
