Grand Cafe de la Soierie

My husband and I had a wonderful experience, great food, lovely ambience, very warm and cosy on a cold Sunday Morning, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Lara who served us was super friendly and made our lunch experience just amazing. Highly recommended !

Came here on Sunday and it was busy and had an amazing beef steak full of flavor with potatoes, albeit the potatoes arrived late for 2 of the 5 dinners, half those steaks were eaten. Also had Gratin Dauphinois which very good as a side. Great value for money and great food. came back the next day Monday when there was hardly anyone there and it 30 minutes just to get 1 pint of Stella and a bottle of water. Rook so long serving, we paid and left after 45 minutes just having a drink. Id loved to have eaten here again, but hey ho, I had a plane to catch.

We had several wonderful family meals at this restaurant. I had a great goat cheese salad a go to dish for me and the best one I had in France this trip. Several people in our group ordered the quenelle(sp? in homard sauce (like a creamy souffle in a lobster bisque and thoroughly enjoyed it. Several in our group ordered the fresh fish and said it was delicious. I loved the tiramisu dessert! Good wines. Great service really friendly and wonderful.
