A beautiful mix of deli and wine/beer store. Go for the unique sandwiches (curried chicken salad with mango chutney is my personal favorite), salads, and pastries, and peruse the wide variety of wine and beer. There are numerous local breweries and wineries represented in their selection, and many are worthy of accompanying your meal. View all feedback.
What K M doesn't like about Magnolia Foods.:
Food was great! Bummed about my brownie. It was not in the bag when I got to my car, so I had to go back inside to ask for it and when I broke it apart to eat it it snapped in half and tastes burnt. Not the amazingly delicious and soft brownies I’m used to. ? View all feedback.
Eating was absolutely amazing! our family was from the city and we used magnolia to accompany our Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it. service was super, simple online order and packed perfectly to contain with instructions. everything was delicious!
My husband and I visited for the first time a few weeks ago. We looked at the website I was excited to try the beignets and quiche but found out when we got there that they are not offering the full menu at this time, no beignets. I was a little disappointed that the quiche isn't made fresh each day but is made the day before and reheated to order. Overall, the food was good and service was great. I liked the pasta salad and loved the atmosphere. It's worth a try if you want something different from our typical dine in spots in the area.
Ate here with my mom and we had a pleasant experience. The store is charming if a little awkwardly laid out when there's a line. Prices are reasonable for what you get: think quick bite to eat without hating yourself afterward. The food, though a little plain looking, was surprisingly flavorful. I got the curried chicken sandwich on pumpernickel and was surprised by the taste. It wasn't overpowering like I feared. Curry can bring the pain if you aren't careful! Oh, and there's overpriced local art on the walls if that's your thing. Not willing to pay 100s of dollars for prints myself, but I came for the food and enjoyed the decoration all the same.
I got a delicious wrap but not too thrilled with their version of pimento cheese. Nothing against them, just a personal preference.
Food was great, but service was slow and the three young women behind the counter were more interested in talking to one another than paying attention to customers. One lady walked up to the counter and said excuse me at least 3 times before one of them responded to walk over and help her. Food and chai tea took longer than expected.
