Situated in the Casino building but between it and the hotel. Although it is not a formal restaurant some people were very well dressed but others in tee shirts and jeans. The food was very good both in quality and presentation style. There was a good choice between fish and meat. I would eat here again. View all feedback.
What PeterDunmow doesn't like about Le Comptoir Joa:
The restaurant is ideally placed next door to the Le Clos Rebillotte hotel. Meals can be taken inside or on the terrace at the rear. This is my second visit here after a couple of years but standards seemed to have slipped. The food was fine but presentation and general ambience seemed to have slipped from last visit. I suppose a bland word such as 'nice ' would sum it up. Nothing really wrong but nothing to excite. View all feedback.

I liked the convenience and sitting on the terrace, but that was about it. I asked if they had cava and the waitress didn't know and went to ask and said yes and brought me a glass which turned out to be a very expensive glass of champagne. That annoyed me a bit. Food was ok, wine list a bit rubbish, but generally an ok place, for not a fancy restaurant. Nothing to write home about.
Went for dinner with a colleague. This hotel and restaurant are a little jewel hidden away in a little town in the east of France. A good dinner. Good service, good food very nicely presented and good wine, what more can you say, go see and try!
