My wife and I visited the restaurant on Saturday around noon. It wasn't too crowded, so we were quickly attended to and served with fresh chips and salsa, which were excellent. We both ordered enchiladas— I had a hard taco while my wife opted for a soft taco. Both dishes were fantastic, and the beans and rice were delicious as well. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was disappointing. I waited at the entrance for quite some time before being seated, and once I was at my table, the waiter rarely checked on me. When it came time to pay, I ended up waiting for nearly 10 minutes, which was frustrating.
As for the food, I can't say I enjoyed it. The salsa lacked any real flavor, dominated instead by large chunks of raw onion. The fajitas... View all feedback.
First thing to address is that this is no longer Vallarta?s. It?s San Jose Mexican Restaurant. We know Vallarta?s is great, so when we discovered the change as we arrived, we were cautious but gave it a shot. The people are very friendly. Food was disappointing. Our party all agreed on that, and we got a variety of items.
What a nice little family restaurant. Sol is fabulous. The food is really good and filling. The drinks are good and strong! Looking forward to our next visit trying something different. ?
The owners believe they are the same as Vallartas. We choose to go to San Jose pn Sunday night because they do not have live music in the evening. The food was excellent and the service was good. Love the Carnittas. My favourite
This is the best Mexican food we found in the area. Service was great, the food was delicious and the margaritas were perfect! The interior is beautifully decorated so that the whole place has a good mood. They also played Bob Ross all the time, which is honest only fantastic.
Hands down the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. EVERYTHING was amazing from the chips salsa to the margaritas and the main meals. I had a combo platter with tostada, Chile relleno and a Tamale and my husband got a platter with 5 different tacos and we loved everything we were served. I look for tamales everywhere I go and these are the best I've had probably ever! Nothing wrong with this restaurant. The staff was also very friendly and the prices were more then fair.. I'm mad I don't live closer so I could go here frequently!
