uninspired, I guess it's best. the atmosphere reminds of an early playroom rather than an upscale restaurant. lack of decoration or intimacy. the food itself, unfortunately, is in the middle. the menus are well thought out, but the directed itself lacks raffinesse or a certain composition. it will be true. In the middle of the Spreewald lies Lübbenau, in the middle of the rivers of Lübbenau lies the castle district, in the Lübbenau Castle, and there I opened my overnight stay camp. As I said, unfortunately no longer went outside, but the guest room was very pleasantly designed The table left in the corner should be mine, I had already reserved it. It did not take long and the service brought the cards, and on request also the wine card. The kitchen has made itself from the plain compared to my last stay before I think 6 years. At that time a sophisticated kitchen was presented. The map can be viewed online. Several menu suggestions are offered to the guest, I chose the Spreewald menu with Zander instead of the alternative Wildbratengang. After ordering, the service first served bread with differently flavored butter I hope that together, that was something berries, red, what with curry, yellow and lemon also, as well as tomatoes. Together with the bread selection, a good bridging to the start of the menu. The kitchen was served on the table with a swing, a schnapps glass I saw, a sort of salad. Zigeunersalat was promoted by the service....political correctness is not the cause of Lübbenauer. But I think in almost every head there is a connection with paprika, sausage, slight sharpness, onions.... so it was. A gypsy salad as well as earlier when he was named in the cooler. It was a little too good for the expected kitchen. Hopefully this would increase.... The first course of the ordered menu was river cancer soup river crabs, tomatoes, estragon and salad gurke, the map still look.... The nose sample made joy, which was a very aromatic crustacean soup. On request I was confirmed that lobster carcass was the basis of soup, along with river cancer residues. The estragon was clearly perceptible as the unannounced but clearly perceptible reservoir was. Together with some crabs, this was a very good crust animal soup! All right, I'm hoping for a dinner to meet my expectations. Main course, roasted zander fillet with acid cream herbal sauce, roasted mushrooms, broccoli and potato puree. That was a good idea and in the presentation. A very fine jaw, well lubricated. The mushrooms were packets, also well prepared. A few sugar chops and a perfectly boiled broccoli in the green fraction. The main dishes, the fish. The fillet was crispy and crusty on the floured skin side, which had almost too much bite. Because by these roasts the fish was too fried over glassy. But that is also a question of personal preferences. I think it's hard that the majority of the clientele, which consists predominantly of holdbacks, wants exactly that way. Next time I ask for shorter cooking time. Then from almost good becomes a probably unlimited good gear! Hintendran Gang 3, Chocolate Parfait and Quarkknödel with Minzkirschen after the map. A somewhat gloomy presentation on the plate offered me. Parfait was there, cost, good, not too sweet, despite bright chocolate. The cherries also, with fresh mint above, in the sauce I found no minzaroma again, with some fresh berries, also delicious. Surprising when I saw there was chocolate! Little secret deception at the end, delicious! To the menu from the narrow but well-sorted wine card a Riesling from the Moselle. A plumber from Weal at Bernkastel Kues, by Markus Molitor. Riesling von Blauschiefer 2015. Very fine, pronounced acid, but fruity, with mineral reverberation. Does this Molitor actually make wines that don't taste me? This was the second wine with white capsule, which I tasted very well. I am annoyed that I didn't come back to the test in 2015 when I passed the Moselsteig. Well, with this wine you can't pamper the mood anymore, the bottle was too fast empty. There was nothing to complain to the service. Ladies and gentlemen did your work without mistakes and tactics. Friendly and cheerful guests were served. That was a pleasure. So I can finish. No star kitchen, but ambitious. Next time I distract the kitchen even more to my preferences, but also this evening I could not really complain about the offer. The PLZ offers a fine menu for 30 EUR, selected wine 38 EUR. I'd like to come back! After the end of the meal, go to the beautiful bar and close the evening! So it will be a nice night in the castle Lübbenau.
We were happy again and spent a pleasant evening. tasty eating, good advice on wine selection as well as the nice service have rounded off the evening.

Very good kitchen, compilation quark and kalbsschnitzel I wouldn't have come on myself, just the hammer. very successful!
