Amazing Indian food located in the center of Petone. The majority of their main dishes are gluten-free, but it is recommended to confirm before placing an order. The staff and kitchen are well-versed in best practices for celiac disease, and in my personal experience dining here, they consistently notify the kitchen to ensure a safe dining experience. So impressed with the service it this Indian restaurant. Sherry was a delightful host who was able to accommodate for our dietary needs (keto). I had a keto curry and cauliflower rice which was 10/10. Can't wait to go back again. A heads up to book in advance as this place is popular. They also have a heat wall with people who have completed the 7x indian hot curry.
Lovely Staff, great food! Discovered a new favorite food. Unfortunately I have quite an extreme spice intolerance but LOVE Indian food flavors, so normally I feel a little foolish ordering at Indian restaurants as I have to explain this intolerance when ordering, this was the 1st time I have explained this to the person taking my order and not felt judged, he completely understood. I will happily recommend to anyone and eat there again. 10 out of 5 stars!
Absolutely delicious food The tandoori chicken and lamb biryani was the best we've ever had. Really great service as well; he was cheerful, accomodating and just a pleasure be served by. Definitely recommend!

Incredible food! I had seen Ruchi recommended so many times online, so I finally went. 100% lives up to the hype. I don't eat butter chicken ever but, decided to give the Indian style butter chicken a go. Phenomenal. The owner greeted us so warmly and treated us like long lost friends. Will definitely be going back and recommend Ruchi as a must try. Book though, as they fill up!
