I've been coming to Pleasant Point over the past 20 years. I've had numerous delicious dinners, got married here, and keep coming back. The new management has done an impressive job at refurbishing this beautiful inn, including the rooms and the common areas, the dining room, the porch, and the beach. This was such an epic venue that my bridesmaid recently brought her husband for a weekend stay! The dining room looks right out to Kezar lake. It's not air conditioned and can get warm. There are also tables on the porch for smaller parties. We grabbed a drink and went to the porch before the rest of our party showed. We got a nice bottle of Sancerre and my husband had an enjoyable cocktail from their menu. The food menu has been updated and it has something for everyone. The rolls, pretzel bites, and pork dumplings were excellent. The clam chowder and stuffed seafood hadddock were raved about by our party. The veal saltimbocca was one of the best I've had. The portions were generous but not overwhelming. Everyone working was super nice and helpful. There were some cons, as they seem to get overwhelmed or backed up. The dining room had people in it, but I wouldn't say it was packed. They were able to get my daughter's hamburger sent out quickly, which was very helpful. I did have to find our waitress so we could order dessert and close out our check as my daughter was fading and needed to get to bed. Again, some small drawbacks, but not unexpected during the reopening after COVID 19. Overall, Pleasant Point remains a very special place in our hearts and we're so happy to see care and attention to detail at this incredibly beautiful spot in the world. Thank you!

The lodge at Pleasant Point has a beautiful sandy beach and clear warm sea water. The lodge itself is very nicely updated while it stays within time and has a lodge/cottage-y feeling. Our room is located on the third floor facing the lake and the mountains and offers stunning views. The beds were comfortable, clean and updated. The food was fantastic and good portion sizes. The hosts Scott and Beth were very courteous, easy to speak and super friendly.

The lodge at Pleasant Point is a fabulous inn at one of the most picturesque places on Kezar Lake. We had a very relaxing family holiday that enjoys the lake and recovers from our hectic everyday life. If all we wanted to do was sit on the sandy beach, swim in clear water, explore kayak on very large lake with so much, enjoy the night moon at the fire pit, have a peaceful tasty dinner at the lakeside dining room, enjoy an after-dinner drink at the bar, sit and play games in the lobby, or relax in the spacious guest room suite well we were not even disappointed. The owners were very personal and attentive to our needs. There is so much to do on the property, but if you want to explore, there are walking and hiking trails nearby. Golf at Kezar CC. Eat ice at the marina. Or just with the locals in the very small town of Kezar in the pub and village business. It was the perfect escape and felt so far, but so close. If you are looking for the entire wedding day experience or a weekend away to celebrate with family and friends, then this is the place. The views are amazing, the food was perfect and the people went over the top to do everything exactly as I wanted! They took the time to personalize everything with us before the big day and even changed the day to better accommodate our guests. They helped and took everything up, the food was unbelievable all weekend, and they went beyond and beyond for me. I wouldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend.
