What a great place! Beautiful location and fantastic food. The deck was full, so we had to eat inside, so would definitely recommend booking in advance to take advantage of the outdoor atmosphere. Went to the deck cafe with my new lovely lady to have lunch. It was on my recommendation. She had the quiche and I had the lunch special veal ragout with gnocchi. The quiche was tiny and the salad badly dressed. My ragout was not a ;ragout but a piece of overcooked veal, with a monstorous sauce and very overcooked gnocchi. View all feedback.

Excellent meals selection offering at reasonable prices for the hunter. Ranges from pastas to cooked meats to antipasto, burgers etc a range to suit all tastes. The service was very good, staff friendly and accommodating. The setting is very pleasant alongside a waterhole.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here, including the chicken burgers, steak and a cheese platter. Everything was well presented and tasty, good value. The views of the surrounding countryside were very relaxing, we sat on the deck overlooking the dam. No problems with bringing our dog, we made sure to book an outside table. Service was prompt despite the cafe being busy. There is also a winery attached to the restaurant.
Ordered steak and a chicken burger. Burger brought out, and at the same time we were asked how we wanted the steak cooked??? Was told will only be 5 mins then jumped to 10mins. Asked for chicken to be redone so we could eat at the same time but told 'no more chicken and no more steak ' REALLY ?? Now that's a stuff up by the chef, but left the poor young waitress to try and explain. Disregarding extremely poor back of house management - the food was lovely.
