Montys Restaurant Bar - Loulé

Our pre-booked table was abandoned, although we arrived early. a waiter had a tantrum in front of us and sneaked his towel on the floor to the feet of another waiter. asked for the choice of the chefs of the pate, but the leber pate was served at twice the price. some bones in the fish and chips. Bar manager wouldn't let me sit on the bar as I had been in his way, but then they just leave others standing there to take as much space. I didn't make annoying in the night, and I asked to notify. when they receive message, they will only receive one answer that tells them how they book and no other answer to the message. I looked out, but could not find an email to contact the management. I hate writing such a review, but the management should make a better contact with the customer. I gave an average rating, as the memory function of this place is that the band that was played were excellent.

Had a good meal here about the half of the time. the service was great and eating was amazing, can highly recommend the ribs simply go with a great appetit! worth visiting, do not forget to book first

We enjoyed a lovely meal here with really good cocktails and lovely service. We visited on a Wednesday evening with our 9 month old and they were very accommodating. We didn’t book so were lucky to get a table and didn’t mind being sat slightly further back from the square. We still enjoyed the music and atmosphere. We both had the surf and turf skewers which were amazing and our son had a spaghetti Bolognese big portion for a little guy! I also had one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. We would definitely visit again.

We have eaten at Monty’s at the Praca de Vale do Lobo for many years and all the staff are very pleasant, especially Fernando. The food and service is consistently very good, and children are very welcomed too. The Portuguese Steak is delicious, as well as the Fish and Chips!
