Stopped in for lunch. Service was quick. The wide variety of sandwiches appealed to any appetite. The standard pastrami and corned beef but also turkey and a veggie sandwich with goat cheese. All piled high on bread or cibatta. Chips as a side are house made. They were pretty good, some crisp some a little soggy. You can eat in or carry out. View all feedback.
Good belly is the best! As a vegetarian, this is my FAVORITE sandwich shop. The rotating veggie special has never, ever disappointed and every single time I eat a Goodbelly sandwich (which is often), I feel so loved and cared for with the quality of ingredients, creativity of flavors, and the amazing staff. I hope Goodbelly stays in the Loop forever because it’s truly a treasure.Vegetarian options: Veggie option is always on point.

Food: tastes amazing! I have many allergies (soy, beans, nuts) and was able to find safe food here. Their meat and veggies are great quality. If you too have a soy allergy: hit up any of their sandwiches, opt for rye bread and swap out mayo/horseradish/coleslaw for mustard.Service: Absolutely lovely! The staff were extremely kind and helpful with finding ingredients that were safe for me to eat.Atmosphere: If it's Good Belly, it's Good Soul. Folks had a clothing donation drive going in the corner, and a Polaroid set out for folks to add their selfies to the wall. So cute!Dietary restrictions: If you have a soy allergy, their rye bread is their only soy free bread. It's very delicious ?They use horseradish and mayonnaise that contain soybean oil. Their coleslaw contains soybean oil. They make their chips from scratch and fry them in vegetable oil that contains soy. I recommend asking for extra pickles instead, they're great! ?The staff is very friendly and able to do substitutions for spreads/dressings!
Such a great, unassuming little place. The pastrami reuben was just fantastic!
Fabulous sandwich shop. Very heavily weighted menu on corned beef and pastrami which is fine with me. Really good sandwiches at a fair price. Service was excellent. I will certainly be back.
