What Smiley H doesn't like about Wiseguy's Italian Kitchen:
The food is good until you see where it's coming from it's so dirty and caked w grease food grim the walls to. No one washes there hands. I was there a week and got fired because I wanted to cleaned and was told they had to give keys to owner cuz they were shutting place down in 2 wks. I believed it. But come to find out I believe they just didn't have nerve to say ur fired cause u not only care about serving I think... View all feedback.
We got there and they were closed according to the website they were open
EXCELLENT customer service with great food. I an so glad a friend recommended this place. Our carryout order was wrapped and labeled perfectly, no spills. The staff was friendly and I could tell it was cooked to order. The lamb/beef gyro was my son’s favorite and the chicken shawarma was my fave. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the hot tea with cardamom was really good. I will definitely be back. This is one of the best restaurants in J-Town.
I cannot speak for the food, which I hear is great, but the dining room was really dirty…? There were roaches on the floor which we noticed while we waited, and I couldn’t bring myself to eat there.
AMAZING food! The Athenian Chicken was great, I’ll go back just for that. We were the only ones there but Dont be turned away from that!
Very surprised this restaurant has such a high rating. We got the chicken shawarma sandwich (bland and cold), Arabic salad (sour and watery), and the lamb kebab (extremely sour but the best part of the meal). When we called the restaurant to tell them the shawarma was cold, they tried to tell us it was because we called ahead and waited to eat it. Um, no. We called 6 minutes out and waited for about 10 for our food to be ready. Then drove 5 minutes away and ate. It should have been hot. We were told to come in and speak to the owner, who I could hear shouting in the background. With zero interest in getting into a confrontation, we decided to say “screw it” and toss our $20 disgusting meal.
