I visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day, arriving later in the evening after 8 PM. I was seated quickly, and our drinks arrived promptly. The appetizers were excellent, and the Beijing duck entree was fantastic! In fact, the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely consider returning with my children. What User doesn't like about Joy Luck East End:

Once again I weathered going to joy luck due to open table points and again was disappointed. Every time we go there we get cold soup. We asked the waitress for hot soup and 10 minutes later got hot soup. The explanation, “the soup well where they keep it warm is not working”. So it must have not been working for months now since the last I visited it was the same excuse. To make matters worse the food was just warm and there were not many people in the restaurant. The table next to us got cold soup as well.
Went for lunch. Great menu specials, excellent service. Will be back.
Loved our private room in the back for our party of 10! Food and service were perfect as usual. One of our favorites!
Nice people. Expected more creative dishes. Food ok but not extraordinary. Priced right for what we ate.
First of all, service was great!! Drinks were fantastic. Food was great!
