What User doesn't like about J Gumbo's Highlands:
It's...just OK. The shrimp etouffee shrimp in a golden roux with celery, onion, and pepper was really just bland. The shrimp were of a nice size, plump and fresh, but the dish just had no spice and was evidently tailored to a much more basic palate. Absolutely delicious food, I have never eaten a bad thing here. They get spice right, everything is very creamy and tasty and they don’t mind using the calories to get there.
Absolute awesome service and great quality food. Ordered take out and walked to pick it up. Had a great adventure and meal. My friend and I both rated it 10/10 after we ate it all.
I must say it's one of a kind I've never had soup that taste that good EVER! This place should go to big events and offer samples and watch it grow. The soup has the potential to take off and I'm talking internationally. Don't believe me? Go try it. I did and actually glad I did. Hope I helped someone.
