Zoës Kitchen - Louisiana

I used to love this place when it opened… it’s gone so downhill. Usually the food you get is cold and thrown together a mess. The staff just doesn’t care anymore. Sad. I usually order after we get off around 8PM… maybe it’s the reason but it shouldn’t matter. Thought about going tonight and remembered the last few times so I passed.

Lunch at Zoës Kitchen today was less that expected. The baked falafel is not good and the hummus tasted a little freezer burnt which I did not at all expect. The Mediterranean chicken is not bad but it did not make the good out way the bad on this food experience. The staff was great though: very friendly and helpful people.

Could use more smiles from staff, music in the background, something to bring the atmosphere up a notch.. or two. Food was good and as expected, somewhat generic but better than other options for this price range.

Today was my first time at Zoe's Kitchen and Miss Teresa behind the counter was so incredibly kind and helpful. As I waited in line, I noticed that she was guiding each person through the menu, offering suggestions based on their hunger level, and cleverly upselling. She was also constantly running food to people's tables and had a positive attitude throughout. Great quality and tasting food for a fast food like restaurant even though it took some time to get my order. The salmon and steak kabobs was excellent and the roasted veggies was perfect.
