What Cydney McLaughlin doesn't like about Oak Rye:
For a place that charges 18% tip ahead of time (when you place your order at the register outside) they didn 't have good costumer service. The hostess and the waiter were nice but boy the manager doesn 't know what her job is (hint- its called the service industry for a reason) . The taste of roasted cauliflower was spot on. The margherita pizza was piping hot when it came out. The cheese was melted perfectly. The basil was a little charred on top but not overwhelming. Overall fantastic experience.
I love this place. Great vibes, excellent West Coast pizza (extra arugula please) and delicious beverages of all varieties!! Very nice servers and if you sit by the pizza oven you stay warm and get a floor show. I highly recommend the upstairs bathroom. Art!!
Best pizza and gnocchi in the Bay. The craft and draft scene is on point too. Very professional
Was in the area.. Looking for a place with great reviews and came across this place. Awesome pizza, great staff, nice atmosphere, loved the music themed art on the walls and any place that plays the whole D 'Angelo 'Brown Sugar ' album while I eat gets an automatic 5 stars!!!! Will definitely be back!!
Food was excellent (5 boroughs pizza!! along with the oak rye signature drink. Service was fast and friendly. Recommend this place to anybody near Los Gatos!
